Coaching activities for Product and liability risks

Premium risk engineering provides coaching and support for liability for insurers and insurance brokers. The coaching activities can be provided in combination with the consultancy for risk engineering services for (product) liability delivery. The scope of coaching covers:

Example / Best Practice
Food company XYZ is a global leader in food ingredients. The company was faced with numerous product liability losses and customer complaints despite a well-structured quality organization and a HACCP hazard analysis process. The losses resulted primary in recall by their customers.

The product risk control plan included a combination of site risk assessments with analysis of losses and customers complaints. HACCP’s (food hazard analysis) in many countries do not include performance risks as colour and appearance issue. For this reason a training was organised for all (local) quality managers to focus on all relevant product risks instead on food safety only. For recall management a workshop for the management team was organised to analyse the main exposure and to define the action measures in case of an own recall, or a recalls by their customers.
